Nagpur : Malvika Bansod was feted by Mayor Dayashankar Tiwari and NMC Sports Committee Chairman Pramod Tabhane for decisively defeating veteran Indian badminton player Saina Nehwal at the India Open Badminton Championships in New Delhi. Malvika defeated the 2012 Olympic bronze medalist Saina Nehwal in just 34 minutes at the India Open badminton tournament on Thursday. Malvika defeated Saina in two sets 21-17, 21-9. With this success, Malvika left her mark in the country. Her success has enhanced the glory of Nagpur city.
