Nagpur: On behalf of Nagpur Municipal Corporation and in collaboration with Shri Taran-Taran Digambar Jain Samaj, a free eye check-up and cataract surgery camp was organized at Taran-Taran Digambar Mandir Lala Bada on Sunday under Mahapaur Netrajyoti Yojana. 61 citizens of the area took advantage of the camp. The camp was inaugurated by Mayor Dayashankar Tiwari. MLA Vikas Kumbhare, corporator Sanjay Balpande, corporator Vidya Kanhere, Sarla Nayak, former standing committee chairperson Ravindra Paigwar, social activist Kishore Palandurkar were present on this occasion. A free eye check-up was conducted in the camp in collaboration with the Mahatme Eye Bank. Cataract surgery was advised to concerned patients after carrying out their eye check up. Those who need surgery will be given free surgery at Mahatme Eye Hospital. In the camp, the eyes of the citizens of the area were examined by the doctors of Mahatma Eye Hospital and other medical teams.
